Nearly 400 participants came out to enjoy the new scenery that included the American flag-lined Putnam St Bridge. Traffic was stopped for racers to cross the bridge safely and with a fantastic view of the Muskingum and Ohio Rivers. Participants then traveled along the course into the historic Harmar area of town and circled back to cross the Putnam Bridge a second time. The last stretch of the race took place along Front St. and the river trail/bike path, leading finishers to cross the line at the gazebo in Muskingum Park.
