The Marietta College Office of Diversity and Inclusion will host a Juneteenth Celebration from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Herman Fine Arts Center Portico, 500 Butler Street, Marietta, OH.  The event will feature music, games, a barbecue, and a panel of speakers including Michael Crutcher who will portray Frederick Douglass, Marcia E. Cole who will portray Charlotte Scott, and Alicestyne Turley, Ph.D.
