The Rivers, Trails, and Ales Festival, also known as RTA Fest, is a free, family-friendly festival held annually in Marietta, Ohio, that celebrates outdoor adventure, craft beer, and community spirit. It brings together cyclists, paddlers, hikers, beer lovers, and families for a weekend packed with fun.

Attendees can enjoy group bike rides for all skill levels, paddle events, regional brews and food trucks at the Beer Fest, live music, and kid-friendly activities such as face paintings, a foam party, and the kids bike rodeo.

RTA Fest 2026 takes place August 6–9. Festival Headquarters will be in Muskingum Park on Front Street, Marietta. The Beer Fest is on Saturday, August 8 from 4 PM to 7 PM.

The festival itself is free and open to the public, but tickets are required for the Beer Fest. Beer Fest tickets can be purchased on-site or online at rtafest.com/ales.

We will be holding the Mighty Muskingum River Raft Race again this year. The Friday night Glow Paddle and the Historic Lock-Thru Paddle on Saturday are some other highly anticipated events.
