Each year RVMBA hosts Take A Kid (or friend) Mountain Biking Day on the city trails in Marietta, OH. This event is one of the highlights of our year and a great opportunity for kids of all ages and beginner adults to try out mountain biking. Kids ages 4 to 14 must bring a guardian, bicycle in good working condition, and a helmet to participate. Some helmets will be available to riders without one. Riders younger than 4 may attend, but will require a parent or guardian to assist them. Following the ride, there will be pizza and prizes for all participating riders.
The River City Singletrack Serpents NICA youth mountain bike team will be on hand to demonstrate and teach some fundamental mountain bike skills! Team coaches will also be available with information about our regional youth mountain bike league!
