Presentation by Ann Besch, Professional Surveryor, will review the contributions of General Rufus Putnam as a surveyor and engineer. Her presentation will focus on Brigadeer General Putnam and his service as Chief Enginner in the Continental Army, his work with Ohio Company Surveys and his service as Surveyor General of the Northwest Territory.

This program is being held as part of the First Congregational Church’s plans to observe its 230th anniversary in 2026. General Putnam was a founding member of this church.
