DESCRIPTION:This is a benefit concert for the Washington Cunty Foster Famil
 ies Foundation.\nBen Haggard\, Merle Haggard’s youngest son\, is an incr
 edibly talented musician in his own right. He was the lead guitarist in hi
 s father’s band and it’s apparent from his many proud social media pos
 ts that Ben and his dad\, Merle Haggard\, were very\, very close. Ben’s 
 father\, the iconic country music legend\, passed away on his 79th birthda
 y after a long health struggle. Ben wrote that his father somehow knew tha
 t he was going to pass away on his birthday. And today\, on his birthday\,
  he took his last breath\, surrounded by his family and friends. Since the
  death of his father\, now\, at 27\, Ben tours with his brother Noel and T
 he Stangers finishing his father’s dates. Ben’s largest influences inc
 lude Roy Nichols\, Reggis Young\, James Burton\, Grady Martin\, and of cou
 rse his father\, Merle. Ben…“He wasn’t just a country singer.. He wa
 s the best country singer that ever lived.”
