DESCRIPTION:The Lafayette Hotel will host a Songwriter’s Series event Fri
 day\, April 18th\, at 8:00 p.m.\, in the Gun Room to help support Marietta
  Main Street’s 2nd Annual #MyMarietta Music Festival in July. The benefi
 t show will feature Bob Chase\, Jake Dunn\, Moon King\, Sherm Koons\, and 
 Moon Mullen. According to Marietta Main Street’s Executive Director\, Je
 n Tinkler\, the #MyMarietta Music Festival “offers an opportunity for th
 e community to come together and enjoy a variety of local bands and musici
 ans. This event is our way of giving back\, providing free entertainment t
 hat is ideal for families.”\n\n“We have a great line-up and a great ti
 me at our Songwriter Series events\,” said Moon Mullen\, who helps to co
 ordinate the Series\, “with twenty (or maybe a few more) original tunes 
 sung by the writers and each one has its own backstory too. That’s a goo
 d night of music for sure.” According to Mullen.\n\nThe #MyMarietta Musi
 c Festival will be held on Saturday\, July 19th\, 2025\, from noon to 11 p
 .m.. Nate Shahan\, Marietta Main Street Board member and organizer says\, 
 “This free\, family-friendly event will showcase some of the best\, loca
 l\, and regional bands and musicians on multiple stages in the heart of hi
 storic downtown Marietta. Your $10 donation at the Songwriter Series event
  will support the #MyMarietta Music Festival.”
