n late 2012 by vocalist Matt James and drummer Nathan Gillis in the small
East Texas town of Palestine\, Blacktop Mojo’s fiery blend of sludgy gro
oves\, classic rock guitar riffs\, and southern metal shredding falls some
where between Soundgarden and Lynyrd Skynyrd to form a sound deemed by som
e as “Texas Grunge”. The music draws on a multitude of genres and styl
es to form a hodgepodge of dirty\, heavy rock and roll mixed with sensual
and at times even\, carnal blues.\n\nAbout Bobaflex: Bobaflex rose from th
e ashes of record label bankruptcy and the loss of their name's rights\, f
ounding BFX Records to release their first independent album\, "Hell In My
Heart\," in 2011. This album spawned two charting singles and set the sta
ge for Bobaflex's fiercely independent path. Since then\, they have contin
ued to thrive independently\, releasing two more albums under BFX (2013's
"Charlatan's Web" and 2015's "Anything That Moves")\, resulting in two mor
e charting singles and self-produced music videos with millions of views.
Their latest album\, "Eloquent Demons\," released on Thermal Entertainment
\, has been their most ambitious and well-received yet\, featuring acclaim
ed singles like their cover of Pink Floyd's "Hey You\," the original "Long
Time Coming\," and "Lights Out.".\n\nAbout Cowboy Killer: The Ohio native
\, Cowboy Killer\, has become the perfect poster child for the new wave of
Country Rap artists. Under his alligator leather belt\, he carries a tast
eful blend of Hip-Hop\, Country\, Blues\, and Rock elements.\n\nAbout Truc
kstop: TRUCKSTOP formed in 2020 during the pandemic in Parkersburg\, West
Virginia. Jerry Larew\, Justin Ewing and Nash Morris had already been play
ing music together\, but decided to create something with more thrash-base
d roots. Larew had a backpack full of material he brought to the table\, a
nd since they were roommates\, they could all continue to write while they
were stuck inside. They began practicing with Austin Erb via Zoom\, and F
acetime\, and when the restrictions lifted they were able to finalize thei
r debut album "Bloodwitch"\, which was released during Summer of 2022. "Bl
oodwitch" was Produced by Dave Hillis. With influences like Metallica\, Ov
erkill\, The Misfits\, My Chemical Romance\, and Avenged Sevenfold the guy
s knew they wanted to create a thrash-based sound with more clean vocals.
TRUCKSTOP is built on fun\, and killer riffs. They are currently touring o
n the East coast and recording their second album due out in 2024. These T
ikTok party boys are looking to throw up the horns all across the World ne
xt year.\n\nAbout Sybils Silence: Sybil's Silence is a dynamic metalcore b
and based out of Marietta\, Ohio. Their music combines traditional metalco
re with southern rock influences\, resulting in a powerful and soulful sou
nd. The band is celebrating the recent release of their debut single "Back
to the Bottle". With Collin Walker on vocals and guitar\, Charlie Catron
on lead guitar\, Thomas Jude on bass guitar\, and Jordan Melott on drums\,
