SUMMARY:Missoula Children’s Theatre: Sleeping Beauty
DESCRIPTION:Peoples Bank Theatre is excited to bring back the Missoula Chil
 dren’s Theatre for a one week\, children’s theatre camp this year! Thi
 s is a fantastic opportunity to introduce your children to the performing 
 arts and we encourage children who are entering the 1st grade through 12th
  grade to audition.\n\nAuditions will be held for the Missoula Children’
 s Theatre production of Sleeping Beauty from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on M
 onday\, August 12th\, at Peoples Bank Theatre. Those auditioning should ar
 rive at 10:00 a.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Most of the ch
 osen cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately follow
 ing the audition.\n\nApproximately 50 to 60 roles are available for local 
 students. All students entering 1st through 12th grade are encouraged to a
 udition. No advance preparation is necessary.\n\nMost students will rehear
 se approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes each day\, from Monday\, August 12
 th\, through Friday\, August 17th.\n\nThe performance is scheduled for 7:0
 0 pm on Friday\, August 16th\, at Peoples Bank Theatre.\nFor more informat

 la and Michael McGill\n\nThe Missoula Children’s Theatre presents SLEEPI
 NG BEAUTY\, an original adaptation of the classic fairy tale. A new prince
 ss is born\, and from far and wide the people of the kingdom gather to cel
 ebrate. One simple mistake is made-an invitation is misplaced-and the wrat
 h of the vicious Scarella falls upon the poor infant in the form of a spel
 l.\n\nSleeping Beauty is now destined to sleep for eternity if she should 
 prick her finger on a spindle before she reaches her sixteenth birthday. S
 leeping Beauty’s Fairy Godmothers do their best to amend the spell\, but
  Scarella\, with the help of some nasty Trolls\, tricks Sleeping Beauty in
 to pricking her finger and the spell takes effect.\n\nFive hundred years p
 ass and Sleeping Beauty wakes to find herself in a Rock ‘n Roll dream! A
 lso featured in this production are the King and the Queen\, Spot\, the Fa
 iries\, the Palace Attendants and the Caterpillars. SLEEPING BEAUTY-a Rock
  ‘n Roll Fable for the ages. This is definitely no sleeper!
