 davers\; Gulp: Adventures on the Alimentary Canal\; Packing for Mars: The 
 Curious Science of Life in the Void\; and Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law
 . Her upcoming ninth book\, Replaceable You\, will release in September 20
 25.\n\nIn this program\, Roach shares hilarious anecdotes\, mind-blowing f
 acts\, and unknown realities of the relationship between humans and the na
 tural world around us in a fascinating talk based on Fuzz: When Nature Bre
 aks the Law.\n\nRoach’s works have been published in 21 languages\, and 
 her second book\, Spook\, was a New York Times Notable Book. She has writt
 en for National Geographic\, Wired\, The New York Times Magazine\, and the
  Journal of Clinical Anatomy. She has also served as a guest editor of the
  Best American Science and Nature Writing series\, an Osher Fellow at the 
 San Francisco Exploratorium\, and an advisor for Orion and Undark magazine
 s. Roach has been a finalist for the Royal Society's Winton Prize and a wi
 nner of the American Engineering Societies' Engineering Journalism Award.\
 n\nAbout: The Esbenshade Series\nThese events have been funded by the Fred
 erica G. Esbenshade Memorial Fund\, which provides annual income for the p
 urpose of bringing lectures\, performing artists\, and programs of diverse
  nature to the campus and community at large. The endowed fund was establi
 shed in 1980 by Harry H Esbenshade Sr.\, and Harry H. Esbenshade Jr.\, hus
 band and son\, respectively\, of the late Mrs. Esbenshade of Uniontown\, P
