 n Songster®\,” Dom Flemons’ repertoire spans more than 100 years of A
 merican roots music. A folk musician\, black country artist\, songwriter\,
  multi-instrumentalist\, music scholar\, historian\, actor\, slam poet\, a
 nd much more\, Flemons also created\, hosts\, and produces the American So
 ngster Radio Show on WSM in Nashville\, TN.\n\nHe is the co-founder and or
 iginal member of the groundbreaking Carolina Chocolate Drops\, the first B
 lack string band to win a Grammy Award. Over the past 25 years\, Flemons h
 as become one of the most accomplished\, influential\, and highly decorate
 d American folk artists\, earning major awards and worldwide media recogni
 tion.\n\nAbout The Esbenshade Series:\nThese events have been funded by th
 e Frederica G. Esbenshade Memorial Fund\, which provides annual income for
  the purpose of bringing lectures\, performing artists\, and programs of d
 iverse nature to the campus and community at large. The endowed fund was e
 stablished in 1980 by Harry H Esbenshade Sr.\, and Harry H. Esbenshade Jr.
 \, husband and son\, respectively\, of the late Mrs. Esbenshade of Unionto
 wn\, Pennsylvania. All events are free and open to the public.\nFurther in
