 chshunds and their devoted owners! It's\ntime to mark your calendars and w
 ag those tails for the most exhilarating event of the year – Marietta Ma
 in Street’s Dachshund Derby! This pawsitively delightful event is set to
  take place on\nSaturday\, September 20th\, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. i
 n downtown Marietta.\n\nPrepare to strut your stuff in style as we kick of
 f the festivities at 12:00 p.m. with a parade walk from The Armory parking
  lot to the gazebo at Muskingum Park. We encourage you and your fur\nbabie
 s to go all out with costumes that will make tails wag and jaws drop!\n\nB
 ut wait\, there's more! Once the parade concludes\, it's off to the races 
 on the Armory Lawn at 1:00 p.m. We've got five different race categories b
 ased on age\, so whether you've got a seasoned senior or a speedy pup\, th
 ere's a race for everyone. And don't worry\, if racing isn't your dog's cu
 p of kibble\, we've got plenty of fun contests at stations located outside
  various downtown businesses. It's a chance for your pooch to show off the
 ir skills and win some pawsome prizes!\n\nBut it's not just about the glor
 y of victory – it's also about giving back to our furry friends in need.
  Entry fee is $7 with proceeds going towards supporting Marietta Main Stre
 et. We also\nencourage donations to The Humane Society of the Mid Ohio Val
 ley. Every little bit helps support our four-legged pals who are still sea
 rching for their forever homes.\n\nAs if that wasn't enough excitement for
  one day\, there will be vendors set up near the race area\, including rep
 resentatives from the Humane Society.\n\nSo grab your leashes\, gather you
 r doxies\, and join us for a day of tail-wagging fun at Marietta Main Stre
 et’s Dachshund Derby! It's sure to be a barking good time that you and y
 our furry friends won't soon forget.
