 n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCampus Martius Museum\, Marietta\, Ohio will be hos
 ting the 13th annual Gunmakers and Allied Artists Day February 18 from 9:
 30 until 4:00. Flintlock and percussion rifles\, essential tools of everyd
 ay life during the early settlement period are still being crafted today b
 y recognized traditional artisans. The museum will feature the work of sev
 eral dozen of these traditional gunmakers as well as other artisans who re
 produce objects used during the 18th and 19th centuries. These will incl
 ude work by blacksmiths\, tinsmiths\, horn makers\, leather workers\, and 
 cabinetmakers. There will also be gunmakers supplies and books relating to
  the subject available for sale. Many of these artists are nationally reco
 gnized for their work\, which can be found in museums and private collecti
