 xplore the lives of several multiracial individuals born before the Civil 
 War who are buried in Marietta’s most historic cemetery. Experience the 
 stories of triumph and tragedy\, including: the original Adena culture who
  built Conus mound in which some are still interred\; “Aunt Lydia” Per
 vis\, St. Clair Muncey\, and George Creel who were born enslaved\, but liv
 ed free in Marietta\; steamboat porter Charles Butler who was a casualty o
 f sidewheeler Buckeye Belle explosion in Beverly\; Edward Giles who was mu
 rdered following his Civil War service by his former overseer in Missouri\
 ; and widely renowned Marietta cook Daphne Squires.\n\nCost: $10\n\nTour b

 place across uneven ground and between headstones\n· You’ll be standing
  at some locations for around 10 – 15 minutes\n· Check the weather and 
 dress accordingly\n· Bringing water\, walking sticks\, or easily carried 
 folding chairs is encouraged\n· When you arrive at the cemetery\, if you 
 already have a reservation or tickets check-in with the Castle team member
  with a clipboard.\n· Unless otherwise noted\, tickets will continue to b
