First Friday comes on just the right day this month, Oct.1, with the theme “Falling for Marietta”. Downtown shops and Riverside Artists Gallery will be open late Friday from 5:00 to 9:00PM. Join us as we welcome fall and invite you, the community, to the opening of our new show “Views of Marietta”.
“Views of Marietta”, will include a variety of art mediums; watercolor, pastels, photography, sculpture, acrylic and more from Riverside Artists Gallery members and visiting artists. The show will feature originals (display only) and prints by Michael Dickinson, views of Marietta through the photo lens of Bruce Wunderlich, fabulous pastel and colored pencil by Robert Morris, local photographs by Ken Terry and watercolors of Marietta as seen by the youthful eye of artist, Ben Gutberlet. Some of the visiting artists will be at the opening throughout the evening so stop in. If you can’t make the opening, the show will be on display the month of October. The Riverside Artists Gallery is open Wed. through Sat. 10:00 to 5:00.
