Celebrate Marietta’s History

This takes the place of our former festival: Inland Waterways Festival. This difference is this will include Campus Martius Museum and will take place EVERY YEAR!!!

This free event will take place at Campus Martius AND the Ohio River Museums. Reenactors, music, storytellers, and hands-on activities will be just a few things to appeal to all ages at both museums and both will be open for touring. ORSANCO will bring the ever-popular 2000 gallon fish tank for people to get an up-close viewing of the critters that inhabit our rivers and streams. (Don’t worry, they return all of them to the rivers after the Celebration.) Guided tours of the W.P. Snyder, Jr. and the Rufus Putnam House will be included. Mark your calendars now to join us for this annual event. Help us celebrate the history of our community on the land and water. Discover what has made this charming community so appealing to all ages for more than 200 years.

Thank you to the Washington County Public Library for partnering with us on this event!
