The Nitty Gritty Series explores the finer aspects of chosen exhibits in Campus Martius and The Ohio River Museums. Presenters who have a special interest in their chosen topic will share their stories and expertise with participants. This program is for adults. Students ages 12-18 must have parental supervision.
Steam Power is the topic for May’s program. Several examples of steam engines will be demonstrated for participants. Working models will provide insight into the workings and potential of steam powered machines. Included with this program is a nitty gritty tour of the engine room on the W.P. Snyder towboat on exhibit at The Ohio River Museum.
