Mid – Ohio Valley History Expo – 2022
Henderson Hall will host the second annual Mid-Ohio Valley History Expo on Saturday, August 27, 2022. The goal of the event is to bring local Historical organizations together to share ideas, and collective knowledge of local history with one another and the public.
The Mid-Ohio Valley history is unique and diverse and it is this diversity that allows us the opportunity and expectation to share this knowledge and discoveries with others. Each historical organization have stories to tell, interesting and valuable tidbits of information to share and the opportunity to educate others about the past.
We invite all Mid-Ohio Valley historical organizations to bring this knowledge and opportunity to Henderson Hall on August 27. There will be no fees for setting up tents or trailers to display your organization. We welcome you to spend the day on the beautiful grounds of what was once a thriving 2000+ acre plantation. The grounds open at 10:00AM and will close at 5:00PM. Local artisans will be on hand as well, including a glass blower, blacksmith, tin smith, weavers, spinners, and others.
The event is open to the public. Anyone interested in learning more about local history and the organizations that bring it to life are welcome and encouraged to attend. Henderson Hall will be open for tours beginning at 10:00AM and will close at 5:00PM.
