Building Bridges to Careers


Description: Join Tom for this introductory class where you will learn the basics of stained glass work while creating this 4 piece 6” square window. Tom is an experienced glass cutter with approximately 14 years of experience. In this two part class you will learn to trace, cut, grind, assemble and solder your very own 4 panel leaded glass window. The goal of this class is not only to have you leave with a piece, but know enough to come in and utilize the Makerspace stained glass space for your own projects.

Supplies: All materials will be provided for the class, you can select your own glass colors from our stock. However, you must wear closed toed shoes to participate, no sandals or flip flops will be allowed in the class. This class is also only open to those that are 18 and over. No youth or minors will be allowed.

Cost: $100 (This covers both part 1 and part 2 of the class)
