Thursday:
6-9pm: RTA Jump Session Kick-off @ Gunlock Park

9pm: Kick-off Party @ The Marietta Brewing Company back room and patio! – see “Ales” for more info
Offical launch of the MBC special RTA festival “Rock Drop” Single Hop Session Ale
RTA Merch available for sale!

All participating RTA ALES locations will have their featured craft beers available – check the festival ALES map!

Friday:
8:00am: Yoga @ RTA Fest Headquarters, may be behind or to side of Armory. (see “Trails” for more info)

9am: Festival Headquarters opens on the Armory Lawn (200 block Front St.) (see “Trails​” for more info)
– Stop by in the morning to pick up information for the day’s rides and paddling events.
– Register for the 10am ride between 9 & 10 am (no cost).

10am: Group Rides Depart from Armory Lawn (200 block Front St.)
Mountain Bike:
City Trails Intermediate Group Rides:
– Mid (8-15 miles w/ lots of bail-out options)
– Big (15-25 miles w/ lots of bail-out options)
Road Bike:
– 16 miles & hilly: Caywood Loop
– 26 miles & hilly: Pleasant Ridge Loop
Around Town:
– Historic Tour: 5+ miles on city streets with lots of stops

10am: Gnome Hike @ Kroger Wetlands, <1 mile hike (see “Ales” for more info)
Fun for adults and children of all ages!

Anytime Friday: Paddler’s Riddle Run (see “Rivers” for more info)
*turn in scorecards by Saturday 7pm to be entered to win prizes

Anytime Friday: Bicycle Scavenger Hunt (see “Trails” for more info)
*turn in scorecards by Saturday 7pm to be entered to win prizes

2pm: Adventure Paddle group meet-up at Veto Lake (see “Rivers” for more info)

2pm: Family Fun Ride departs from Armory Lawn (200 block of Front St.) (see “Trails​” for more info)
*Family fun ride will ride a loop on the River Trail, a 4 mile paved double-lane bike path. (full loop 8 miles, or stop after half-loop)

6-9pm: RTA Adventure  Expo on the Armory Lawn  (see “Trails​” for more info)
Local outdoor organizations are invited to set up a table to share information, and may choose to sell gear.

9pm: RTA Fest Night Mountain Bike Ride -meet at Broughton’s Parking area, 3 miles from town (see “Trails​” for more info)


Saturday

8:30am: Hike @ Broughton’s Nature and Wildlife Education Area – 3 miles (see “Trails” for more info)

9am: Lowell to Marietta group Lock-thru Paddle departs from below the locks on
– Buell Island in Lowell. Approx. 30 minutes up river from Marietta  (See Rivers for more info.)

9am: Festival Headquarters opens on the Armory Lawn (200 block Front St.)
– Stop by in the morning to pick up information for the day’s rides and paddling events.
– Register for the 10am ride between 9 & 10 am (no cost).

9am-3pm: Specialized Bicycles Mountain Bike Demo (Festival Headquarters) – (see “Trails​” for more info)

10am: Group Rides Depart from Armory Lawn (Festival Headquarters)

– Location of event is TBD very soon but it’ll be near the Festival HQ (Armory Lawn off of Front Street).

12-3pm: Bike Rodeo, Climbing Wall, & Strider Adventure Zone – Armory Lawn (see “Trails​” for more info)
– Bring the kids by for a bike safety check, helmet fitting, and some fun games & give-aways. Ride bikes!

1-3pm: 5Point Adventure Film Festival @ Peoples Bank Theatre  (see “Trails​” or “Ales​” for more info)
– 1st Viewing

2pm: Family Fun Ride departs from Armory Lawn (200 block of Front St.)
* Family fun ride will ride a loop on the River Trail, a 4 mile paved double-lane bike path. (full loop 8 miles, or stop after half-loop)

3-4pm: RTA Beer Fest Platinum VIP Hour at the Marietta Brewing Co (167 Front St.)

4-6pm: 5Point Adventure Film Festival @ Peoples Bank Theatre  (see “Trails​” or “Ales​” for more info)
-2nd Viewing

4-7pm: RTA Beer Mini-Fest! Backroom & Patio of the Marietta Brewing Co (167 Front St.) (see “Ales​” for more info)
– Try beers from our local MBC, plus 5-10 visiting Ohio breweries!

7pm: Elevator Brewing Tasting @ Over the Moon Pub & Pizza (see “Ales​” for more info)

7pm: Bike Parade!
Come back to the Festival Headquarters with your bike to ride a lap around town! The parade route will start down the bike path towards the fairgrounds, loop back along Front Street to the Ohio River Fountain, and loop back to the Armory on the bike path. Decorate your bike if you are feeling festive and enjoy a fun new tradition!
